"Go/Don't Go"

GO / DON'T GO is the story of Adam, the lone man living at the end of human existence, the last person alive. His daily routines keep him sane - wake up, brush teeth, forage for supplies, take out the trash, go shopping, check what needs to be checked, cross off what needs to be crossed off - but over the course of a harrowing few days, things begin to unravel for him as he is confronted with an unexpected terrifying possibility.

Maybe Adam is descending into madness, or maybe he’s not actually alone...

GO / DON'T GO is a post-apocalyptic psychological thriller, oscillating between a forgotten love story and inescapable paranoia. Imagine if a hopeless romantic was the last man alive, trying to survive - trying to live.

This film was written & directed by Alex Knapp, a prominent young filmmaker and Hudson NY resident, who has been collaborating with SSYY for over three years.

Tom Essig and SSYY have been involved with the creative and execution of Go Don't Go from the very early stages of conception.

Much of the work Alex (A+M Creative) and SSYY had collaborated on previously directly influenced the visual aesthetic of the film, and their strong relationship instilled a confidence that filtered through the rest of the crew and business partners.

SSYY was able to bring an incredibly valuable geographic knowledge base to the production, as well as the ability to draw on a vast network of connections and powerful relationships in the area. It provided the film with an indispensable infrastructure that allowed the filmmakers to do what they do best, make films.
